In 2003, a passion for cooking led Chef Kevin McCombs to Colorado to pursue a degree in the culinary arts. Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, he developed his skills at Colorado Mountain College’s Keystone Culinary Institute. Chef began his professional career as sous chef at the renowned Ski Tip Lodge restaurant in Keystone Resort after receiving his degree. After two years of hard work refining the cuisine and sharpening his skills, Kevin was promoted to Executive Chef. In this role, he took the Ski Tip to new levels, and the community recognized his work by voting it “Best Restaurant in Summit County” in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Chef Kevin’s five years in a leadership role at the Ski Tip gave him the experience necessary to begin his new project in House Cured Culinary.
